I’m so glad you were able to attend Thursday’s show, Louis! I love that you noticed the snowtrout–we believe our film may the first time flyfishing for this species has been caught on video. While they are native to Bhutan and currently pretty abundant in the kingdom, their survival is threatened by non-native species that compete with them in Bhutan’s rivers. There are so many fascinating issues in the rivers of Bhutan that our film could only scratch the surface. By the way, we did see some hand-line fishing in Bhutan. Good luck to you and your Pescos hand-lines! Very cool to see another creative, passionate entrepreneur in Steamboat Springs!

While I love to fly fish, I also like the simplicity and accessibility of handlines, and sharing it with the locals !
